11th and 12th August l 12.30 p.m. to 5 p.m. l University of Rostock
Even in this year the event Science@Sail is organized in parallel to the Hanse Sail. On the 11th and 12th August the Institute of Physics and the Zoological Institute (both at the Universitätsplatz) will offer to experience science with guests and specialists.

1:00 p.m.: “Indiana Jones is on a quest for the lost Monopoly”, Show-lecture of the “city physicists” Rostock
2:30 p.m.: Guest-lecture “Titanic – Mit Physik in den Untergang!” by Metin Tolan (Technical University of Dortmund)
4:00 p.m.: „Den Kräften des Universums auf der Spur“, Dipl. Phys. Christian Voss, Institute of physics Rostock
5:00 p.m. „Proton-Tötolin“ (annihilation of particles according to Herricht & Preil), Dipl. Phys. Chris Lappe and Dipl. Phys. Hannes Sobottka, Institute of physics Rostock

1:00 p.m.: Funny and amusing fact-stories from chemistry, show-lecture of the “city physicists” Rostock
2:15 p.m.: “Forces out of nothing”, prof. Stefan Scheel, Institute of physics Rostock
3:00 p.m.: „Proton-Tötolin“ (annihilation of particles according to Herricht & Preil), Dipl. Phys. Chris Lappe and Dipl. Phys. Hannes Sobottka, Institute of physics Rostock
3:30 p.m.: “Indiana Jones is on a quest for the lost Monopoly”, Show-lecture of the “city physicists” Rostock
All lectures will take place in the big auditorium of the Institute of physics; Universitätsplatz 3 in 18055 Rostock
The neighboring zoological collection of the University of Rostock will be open on both days from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Universitätsplatz 2).
