Important information during the seaplane meeting 2008

(1) After landing at the sea base, pilots and crew should report to the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) or official in charge, with all documents required.

(2) The service personal will accompany you to your accommodation and inform you about local details, supplies and facilities, and event process.

(3) All information about technical security, anchorage, berths and air traffic activities will be handed out by the ATC, during the daily pilot briefing.

(4) Throughout the meeting, pilots / owners are responsible for their planes and for obeying traffic rules. The insurance policies required have to be presented to the ATC.

(5) Refuelling with AVGAS 100 LL will only be possible at the gas station established at the sea base, by cash payment. The petrol price will be established in accordance to the actual regional prices. Please, note that refuelling the planes will only be possible at the established fuel station, due to safety reasons.

(6) JET-FUEL can be refuelled at the Airport Laage, only a 5 minute flight from the sea base.

(7) All participating planes may also carry passengers. Booking a plane can be made through the Booking Center of the Hanse Sail Büro in advance, or our service counter at the sea base.

(8) Accommodations are at your disposal, on board a ship or in hired rooms close to the sea base.

(9) Price: ca. 25,00 Euro per person / per day.

(10) On the day of departure, the rooms have to be checked out by the responsible host/lookers.
