Maritime art exhibition and art prize of the Hanse Sail 2012

The facilities of the art and music school (HMT) are the first time used during the Hanse Sail for a maritime art exhibition.
The art house “Hanse-Art-ig” organizes in cooperation with the Hanse Sail office an international competition for artists with the mutual goal to present the paintings to a broad audience and to promote maritime art and naval paintings.

Interested artists are asked to apply with his or her exhibits until the 25th of July 2012. More detailed information is available on the tender documents.
The visitors of the exhibition are going to vote for their favorite art piece. The award ceremony will be held on the 11th of August on the stage of the Hanse Sail at the Stadthafen. A part of the exhibits will be auctioned after the exhibition has ended.
